DESIGN STUDIES

Inspired by the aerial landscape of a golf estate in Ibiza, Roca Llisa translates the geometry of fairways, rivers and greens into an abstract composition.

Rather than depicting golf literally, the project reduces the landscape to its structural elements until it becomes its own visual language—existing somewhere between an aerial photograph, a topographic map and an abstract painting.

The colour palette is taken directly from the landscape itself. The terracotta ground reflects the dry Ibizan earth, the blue channels reference the waterways that divide the course, while the pink forms echo the island’s bougainvillea in bloom. Fine green outlines recall the vegetation that defines the edges of the fairways and greens.
